These terms cover your use of vilwave.com. Paid work is under a separate agreement. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the site.
The site is operated by Vilwave, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. “You” means anyone who visits or uses the site.
The site describes Vilwave’s practices — AI infrastructure, cloud, FinOps, SRE, distributed systems, and security — and lets you contact us or apply for a role. It is not an offer to contract until we agree terms in writing.
Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it in a way that harms the service, submit malware, or impersonate someone else on a form.
Content on the site (text, layout, graphics, and marks) belongs to Vilwave or its licensors. You may not copy it for a competing site or commercial reuse without written permission. You may quote short passages with credit.
Enquiries and applications you send are confidential on our side in the ordinary sense of a professional firm: we use them to reply or to recruit, as the privacy policy describes. Do not send information you are not allowed to share.
CV links must be a Google Drive or OneDrive URL you control. You are responsible for the sharing settings on that file. LinkedIn URLs you paste must be your own profile, or a profile you are allowed to share.
The site is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is uninterrupted or free of error. Opinions on the blog are general and are not advice for your environment.
Vilwave is not liable for loss arising only from your use of the public website (including a form that fails to send). Liability for paid delivery is set in the engagement contract, not here.
Links to LinkedIn, Drive, OneDrive, or other third-party sites are outside our control. Their terms and privacy rules apply once you leave vilwave.com.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. Courts in Johannesburg have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory law says otherwise.
We may change these terms by posting an update on this page. Continued use of the site after that date is acceptance of the new terms.
